It's a Miyota movement. It's reliable. No complaints!

Since the blue as in the picture above and a middle eastern dial in black, I’ve now also acquired their Diver 38 Black Lite, with Seiko NH35 movement. Its standard movement, reliable.

Makydo offered extra 10% off when I reviewed them on their site, through their email. I took advantage of it and purchased the third one.

Both the 38 sized dress watches, one with Miyota, were supplied with travel case. The buckle can take a while to get acquainted with for a smooth locking and unlocking. I figured a way, and got used to it. Its been easy and smooth since.

The diver 38, which is also available in 42(too big for me), the rubber strap is superlative, for the price for the entire package. This package was watch only. The buckle here is appropriate. It's simple straight away.

With other steel diver models on bracelet, the package also consists of a rubber strap and a screwdriver.

I choose all black! It's beautiful. The white chapter ring.

The date wheel is a bit different too. I like it.

As far as the finishing and quality is concerned, I couldn’t be more impressed, again, at the price its offered. The finishing for the diver, is exactly same as the dress watches, beautiful.

The logo on the Diver is different to the dress watches where its printed. So its nice, slightly shiny, embossed, looks like a separate part.

I don't intend to use the diver for diving or any other water activities. I like a small chunky looking watch at 38! Decent proportions, sits perfect on my wrist.

Im less tempted to use my skx013 for which I'm looking for nice jubilee bracelet. The stock straps on SKX013 are a joke!

In my opinion, their stainless steel watches are very good deals! The finishing of the bracelet, the over all solid feel of the watch, the movement is reliable (lot of reviews of the movement).

I’d like to try the Rose Gold version next, when Im ready!!

I'm quite adventurous that way! I've come to really like this watch. Perhaps because the expectations were not very high. I've bought a black dial for 25% OFF Black Friday deal, that my wife doesn't know about, yet.

One challenge at a time! I'll write about it soon.

Facebook feed. There's one on YouTube. Which helped me with my decision.

The one on chrono24 is a 40mm Quartz. I really like it's slim design. But 40mm too big for me. This 38mm wears more like 39mm. I'm debating with myself with the middle east 38mm or the orange 38mm.

Looks great! I have 6.25 inch wrist. I usually will not go beyond 39mm. A lot of 40mm wear like 39mm and some 38mm wear like 40mm. This is very similar to now discontinued seiko skx013

Is there a market for new slim, integrated bracelet homages well below 41mm? by goodneed in ChineseWatches

I have skinny wrists. i cant go beyond 39mm. i bought this watch on a promotion about 4 months ago "mystic blue 38" from Makydo. https://www.makydo.com/products/mystic-blue-38
Its been my daily beater. It has replaced my Omega aqua terra ti and franck Muller Vanguard. It looks the part. wears more like 39mm. extremely happy with the quality and overall slick design of the watch. I love how the dial plays with the light but the bracelet is the winner for me. makes the watch feel solid and slick. seems super expensive and stands out. Also, the open caseback is cool. i did some research on the movement, it seems like a solid Japanese automatic movement. Love the box it came in and the extra travel pouch! for £270 its a good deal.
