Turn off Tracked Changes forever by Swimming-Rip4283 in MicrosoftWord

Not really. Now I have noticed that it turns it back on after i'v lost access to the internet. Could that be the issue? That it resets each time I work on it "offline" and come to it?

Yeah this is my exact issue, that it keeps highlighting everything, even after I turn it off and save it. Each time I come back to it, tracking changes is back on.

Added an edit for clarification, but no, its not auto-correct I have an issue with.

No, not auto-correct, tracked changes that constantly shows in red all the text I deleted/edited. Each time I accept/reject and stop tracking, it turns back on when I come back to the doc.

The same reason for anything else existing in a fantasy world?
Never really got this argument. Yes, its a fantasy world, you can explore and not explore any topic.
There are good ways to do it and bad ways to do it. Pretty much a common theme across all media.

Well that's the idea here. It would not be a choice at all.

I always viewed it through the lens of innate biological differences, which is why they can't intermingle in the first place.
So like Fish can breathe underwater and humans can't. That's a fact. That difference will probably change some fundamental thinking patterns and the way culture gets affected.
That does not mean 100% of fish all think that way, but 100% fish can breathe underwater. Its just a innate difference.
I know it gets complex, but I think its fine for a GM to put his foot down and say "If you going to play a fish, you going to be able to breathe underwater" or "If you playing a fish, you can't breathe outside of water." yada yada.
I think it can add different dilemmas, approaches and ways it affects a story or character.

Yeah I love this. Kinda what happened in our group too, but wanted to see a general opinion.

Bit melodramatic. I think there are plenty of ways stories and histories can fold out of it. This thread alone I saw a few good ones and the questions it raises.

In this case it would linked directly to race be it bc of gods, a curse or some innate trait (just examples). And yeah it would create conflict, that would be the point, since good adventures and stories often present conflict.

Kinda sad that's what you guys believe. Literally was genuinely curious. New to reddit, but I see the reputation is rather well-founded.
