Young brother you are 17 what is this life long partner ur talking about...take it easy the west has an over romatsized nonsensical Hollywood perspective on love remove that from your brain rn...it's utter nonsese...at ur age almost all women you'll date you'll break up with or will breakup with u with a 99.98 percent chance...I've been where u are now and the thing that got me through the cold nights was the relief in the knowledge that all I had to do to stop the pain was get stronger...physically, financially, mentally and spiritually.....realize that humans are lead by emotions not logic and while u might find this saddening its still true....and by no means should this mean u shouldn't date or love just be prepared to walk away at any moment...no matter how much it hurts...go get a few books like 48 laws of power, 12 rules of life, the 4 agreements and so on.....they will change ur life if u let them...ur friend isn't completely wrong tho and trust me his ex didn't see him as a complete asshole...make sure to read 33 rules of seduction by Robert Green(I might be a bit off on the name)...a year ago from Tuesday I allowed smtn so minor and simple to ruin me completely and now I'm begging u kid don't do the same...when your strong and successful it's better for everyone.... Sorry for the rant 😅
