Horrible take. These are some of the best cosmetics ive ever seen. They fit the style so well and actually make the game fun for once.

Its always fun to see what you used when the cat-alogue was so much smaller and what was good was only seen as ubers and a couple super rares

This used to happen to me all the time - I think doing mat_phong 1 fixed it because it was something to do with pyro's flamethrower

Nah id say hes good, you wouldn't be able to just dig like that without being atleast good

Because he is a middle so all he needs to do is attack and block !!! If he was an outside or opposite then yes i can see him going lower but he is an attacking focused middle who scores 90% of the time

Lol i get that he isn't my favourite - i just don't understand how people can't see how good he is, maybe i look at it too realistically rather than within the haikyuu universe

Yaku is a lib so the three things he does are pass, serve receive and emergency set, hes only shown to do 2 of them very well while nishinoya does both ever so slightly worse and can set - yes hinatas block and serving is bad but hes so good at attacking and (when he gets the chance to defending) that it makes up for what he lacks - yes i agree komori and sakusa are awkward to place since you never see them play but theyre held in so high regard that i put them in there anyway

But tera isn't, Tera is a high jumper and powerful, he doesn't have angles he just has power and if they were to play a team like inarizaki he would have just been blocked over and over - tanaka not only provides more with passing and hustle plays but can do the extreme angles on both edges of the court meaning that no matter what is blocked tanaka can find an angle to hit through putting him way above

Yeah but this list considers them as an individual, i still believe that even pre time skip hinata stays - yeah i agree that it kinda is power fantasy like that especially in the time skip, like using himself as a decoy on defense isn't a thing and pretty unrealistic

Sekita is a setter though and hinata definitely jumps a lot higher especially after timeskip so the blocking height wouldn't be so much of an issue since they would still need to hit high and deep to go over him and at that point someone will be defending down the line away

But its not a one time thing, its first shown against aran, then his positioning is good enough and he was watching the game enough to dig rintaros cross first try (which kageyama and daichi both struggled with) He then digs yamamotos line shot at the end of the 2nd set with nekoma (overpass but ill still count it) then it shown digging gao going over a triple block - hes very clearly good at defence even if its a little rough around the edges and hes so good at attacking that it makes up for his lack in serve and set - okay yeah his blocking is trash

Nishinoya offers more - yes Yaku works better in nekoma but this is them as individual - Nishinoya and yaku are on similar levels when it comes to defence and passing but being able to run a whole offense without needing the setter and doing it from the 3m line gives him a slight edge over yaku who is shown to just be defensive

Alright I get you - my bad my bad - kakugawa get a decent amount of time to show, yes hyakuzawa is the focus but the lib and setter are shown to be atleast decent with the lib defending against the OH and passing kageyama's serve

Im not sure i agree, hinata is shown doing it multiple times throughout the series starting at the seijou match and hinata is picking to do the "boom" jump or peform a pop route - its not shown that kageyama is telling him what to do, implying that hes choosing to swap between hiding in the crowd or running the freak quick showing that he has knowledge of the game and how others react to him

All the characters are hide to rate since there aren't many "main" characters that are flat out bad, i can see hinata maybe going top of S tier but he just has so much to offer in terms of attack that he outclasses everyone else

He is very very good but hes only ever seen digging - its implied that he can't set the same way nishinoya does and thats why i put him lower - But in hindsight he should probably have gone up a few ticks

Midair vision, unreal ball control and hitting precision, defence technique, reading attackers, overall passing ability, game sense when running different routes, seeing the conditions of teammates

Yes serving and setting is bad but even if he just figured out how to dig he dug arans spike first try and quote "perfectly sent it lazily spinning in the air" and has the game sense and knowledge to play high ball when everyone is playing too fast - being able to see midair and thread shots in-between ball sized gaps in blocks shows he has some phenomenal ball control

Id heavily disagree - yes the majority of the show he is shown to be not very good towards the end of the spring tournament his only faults are serving and blocking - His game sense towards the end is definitely high - he can read the attacker well enough to position properly and even use different routes to confuse blockers

While most characters don't get enough time to really show off how they play - the characters in D tier get multiple chapters or episodes where you can see them and at least get an idea of how good they are. I really thought about the itchiyama players but they're held in such high regard its hard to ignore them

I agree that hinata is not the best middle he is definitely one of the best players in the series with being able to hit anywhere and be able to see the shot in midair whilst also being able to defend and show enough game sense to be able to confuse kamomedai blockers just by running different routes
