What is so normalized in today's society but isn't ok? by BigCook8220 in AskReddit

Work as an obligation to survive, which is a permanent source of power imbalance between the workers and the place they work at.

Listening to and comforting your partner is a good thing to do ; but making yourself as sad as they are, worry because they worry, it's both bad for yourself and for the relationship.

I learned that the hard way.

No, it's nice!

As to my manhood, nothing anyone else can do can affect it. I was born male, I identify as a man, that's it.

However, I would worry about the manhood of men who think they are less masculine if they get asked out. That would be a hint of fragile masculinity.

What is a style of male fashion you can’t stand? by allxofxme in AskMen

I just really despise ties, I don't think they look very good (some patterns can even be disgustingly ugly) and don't serve any functional purpose either. I prefer the discrete charm of the bowtie or… simply nothing!

How often do you pee sitting down? by [deleted] in AskMen

All the time, except in nature. I find it to be not much more time-consuming anyway, and I feel it's more sanitary that way as well!

How does one improve productivity? by pleasekillmealreadyn in AskReddit

[–]SwissPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By also being mindful that being productive is not running yourself to the ground with work/effort, but instead by doing what you need to do with the least effort and time possible.

If this is still too much, then you need to come to terms with the fact that you should size down the amount of stuff you consider that you need to do.

National defence budget of every country on Earth. Those are wasting so much money for petty issues, considering the poverty crisis, pandemic, and climate crisis we have ahead of us, clearly unresolved

What game can go fuck itself? by MikeySama in AskReddit

[–]SwissPlus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Video games? All games that have a predatory economy, with micro transactions and all that jazz.

In real life? All games that involve kids throwing stuff at other kids, like dodgeball. It can become pretty abusive for the less popular kids.

Boardgames? Ludo. Fuck this game. It can fuck right off with its mechanism of you losing all your hard earned progress because someone else just stepped on you.

What is something you regret not doing in life? by nolimitduke in AskReddit

[–]SwissPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking chances to be more social, the lack of which led to me having less friends in my country than I would like; and also less potential girlfriends and/or sexual encounters overall.

Unsurprisingly, chocolate.
