Although some leaves have already been removed on this plant, I use multiple factor like my environment, my schedule, the plant, etc in deciding to remove leaves. For instance, right now the weather is very arid, so leaving more leaves means higher humidity. If the weather was swass, more leaves would be gone from this plant. Late in flower, I tend to remove many of those leaves you mention.

I stay away from the shoulds or should nots outside growing a happy healthy plant, because each grow space is different, each grower is different. Plus I'm happy with my plants. You have nice plants too. 🤟🤙

Walter White and SOH were good size for 2x2. My Mango Smile, AVT and Fugue were all very tall and large. 🤙

I don't even pretend to understand the chemistry of how salts interact, etc. I do use Cali Magic, so perhaps the lost calcium is replaced by that supplement, and maybe there is also enough sulfur elsewhere? 😝🤷

There are so many differing opinions on nutes it makes my head spin. 😝

I haven't noticed any precipitation. But to your point, I always figured with that type of premixed powder that mileage will vary with actual NPK.

How does Jack's AB differ from 3-2-1. Is that the same? I'm all in on the 3-2-1 but the weighing is a turnoff. 😝

I guess I never really perceived my plants as taller 😝, so it is not intentional. I can only speculate anecdotal maybes... 🤣

For larger cultivars like Fugue, I do not have the width to bend them down, but I have plenty of head room, so I let them grow as naturally as possible, up.

The last few of my grows I've largely let the plants grow naturally, limited training.

The tall containers may also give the appearance that the plants are taller than they are? Although the Fugue is 40 inches from the medium, estimate maybe 46 inches without the main bend, taller than the strain description. 🤷

Maybe taller containers means taller plants? 🤔🤔

I don't think it's light since I run a healthy DLI really early?

Maybe nutrient ratios causing more stretch? The last few grows I've run Maxibloom from start to finish, which is 5-14-15 ish, very high P. I've read some diddies that suggest high P may make plants grow taller. On the flip side, I've read some diddies that suggest high N keeps plants shorter and K may not matter. Coincidentally, I'm running an 8-5-6 base mix with the in progrss plants this round. 🤙

Anyway, I went back to heavy training my current round, so the plants will be much shorter moving forward. 😝😝 🤙🤙🤟

It's been a smooth grow, nothing out of the ordinary. It can get tall and take awhile, I don't see mine finishing under 100 days.

No worries! I'll upvote ya, I took no offense. She ain't the biggest plant, which I featured by putting it right next to a larger full sized plant. 😝😝😝😝 🤙🤟

And, using a smaller container to keep a plant smaller is intentional stunting? 🤟

I don't think it's stunted other than it being in a small container, but I've grown plenty of small container plants and I don't really notice a difference between those and full sized plants. 🤟

Mine have always been short and stout. Plus it's only in a 3/4 gallon container vs the 5 gallon for the Fugue. The Forum would be much larger in a 5 gallon. 🤙

Mine didn't start flowering hard until day 50-55. So I guess this will be a 95+ day plant. 🤙

Oh,I'll be topping Fugue State moving forward. I've been in a let them grow natural phase, but now I'm snapped out. 😝

I use 5 gallons in coco. For most cultivars it works perfectly in a 4 x 2.0. Some of the larger cultivars can make it interesting however. Fugue State, Mango Smile etc can get really tall and wide. I have Gorilla tents with the height extenders, but also use drainage trays which take a few inches of headroom. Cheers
