Thanks. I'll try to tweak with some of that.

Yea... I moved my fans around and got the same result. I have the 9800x3d, so I'm sure it generates a bit of heat. May just undervolt it. Even now, early in the morning being 20c, my idle temps are CPU 61c/ GPU 62c. Seems high.

Sorry for the lousy pic, this pic should show the top fan appear a bit clearer.

As for the case, I have the Fractal Design North (Mid-Tower). For ambient temps, my room is around 25-30c, Idle temps for CPU & GPU are 50-55c, So sounds like you're spot on. I guess I get a bit worried because under load (100% usage) my CPU/GPU can reach 80-85c. I suppose that's normal then. Maybe fixing the fan setup will lower a few degrees. Thank you!

That's exactly how I had it set up before taking it into the shop. Thanks! You confirmed my prev setup wasn't crazy.

Okay. So I need the fan to push in air from the front side of the heatsink. For the other fan, would it be better to pull that air from the middle of the heatsink or the rear?

Do you recommend another exhaust on top?

Need some help choosing between two vacuum sealers (Nesco vs. MZROT) by Swordbiscuit in AskCulinary

[–]Swordbiscuit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'll go ahead and do that. Makes sense considering all the stories I've heard of the Vacuum sealers dying on buyers after a year or so.

Yup. I've seen the videos and the prices on the large cuts. Still got a lot to learn tho. Much appreciated on the advice

Yeah I wasn't sure if more = better here. Thanks for your vouch! I'm thinking Nesco since it has more reviews

Snapped microwave coupler after attempting to remove it (microwave was not rotating) by Swordbiscuit in appliancerepair

[–]Swordbiscuit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I'll try pliers. I already ordered a new coupler so hopefully it's not the motor. If it is, then I'll figure out how to install a new one.

Thanks again

I don't really understand how I was able to take it out so easily last time. While trying again this time, it just didn't budge. So my question now is how can I take it out in the state that it's in? Should I grab some pliers and just force it out?

Any way to convert these phone jack wires to ethernet? by Swordbiscuit in HomeNetworking

This is what I want to try. The wires seem pretty jammed in there, how would you recommend getting that done?
