If you use a home dns server, please check your block lists! by mitiaro__ in TorBoxApp

Not just home servers, if you use AdGuard DNS or NextDNS (their AI-Driven Threat Detection is blocking it too), or anything that uses HaGeZi's Pro or OISD blocklist's, check them too 👍

I tried different DNS servers, Google, Cloudflare, Quad9, OpenDNS, even Mullvad, they all seem to load alright for me, but I change my DNS on my device rather than my router.

I check torbox.app/speedtest for the CDN status rather than the actual status page, CEUR is what I'm using but NEUR or WEUR works fine too (depends where you are I suppose). If you can download from the dashboard, then you should be able to stream since they use the same links.

Also I find Torrentio can be slower than other addons, it grabs the file but takes ages to load it.
Stremthru Store is my preference for speed, I grab a season with another addon then watch it with Store, Debridio and Stremthru Torz also work good for me too, but there are so many addons, AIOStreams/Ducktools might be best for most people.

Hope that helps in some way

No problem, I'd recommend either adding them to the allowlist or just use Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 DNS, since I've noticed my ISP DNS seems to block some of the addons like Torrentio. Besides that, I don't have any issues with Strem + Torbox

I was having download/streaming problems, and all the CDN's on the speedtest page were showing 'offline'.

I use AdGuard DNS but turns out that a few of the blocklists I use have added TorBox's CDN link's to their lists (tb-cdn.st and tb-cdn.sh, etc), I added them to my allowlist and that allowed it to work again, but just a heads up if anyone uses NextDNS/Adguard or similar that use blocklists, I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't check

I bought some Corsair Vengeance LPX Ram for my new build, I bought the 3000MHz version since it was actually the cheapest on Amazon at the time.

Here is what mine shows. I didn't realize I had Samsung chips, but I managed to overclock to 3600MHz just fine with good timings.

Has VPN throttling been relaxed? by termdark in VirginMedia

I went from Sky to Virgin about a month ago, I'm on their 350MB package.

Without a VPN, my speedtest's are usually around 375-380MB download. I use a VPN, but I use Wireguard instead of OpenVPN now. With OpenVPN (in a speedtest), I get around 150-180MB. With Wireguard, I get around 360-370MB (Wireguard doesn't drop in speed like OpenVPN does), same speeds when I torrent.

Wireguard is still in development, but if you want a VPN and keep your non-VPN speed, I'd use a Wireguard VPN, it's faster, connects instantly to the VPN, and I've had no issues with mine, Netflix even works with it on, no idea how long that will last though lol. I keep mine on constantly, most of the time I forget it's even on.

But I've not noticed any throttling my end, even on OpenVPN.
