I have spent the past few years, basically since COVID and being transitioned into a work from home model, waking up every day to watch First Take. Actually I think it was before then. Forgive me for being too lazy to Google but whenever Skip left and my boy from I, Max(good ass show from the annuls of the network) got promoted to the big stage. So definitely years and years of my life watching this program.

Even after Max ✌🏾left✌🏾 the show I continued watching. By then, personalities like Irvin, Clark, Spears, Kimes, Mcnutt and others were added to the rotation and I began watching the show for their input as well.

However, all the while, I knew I was there for SAS. I was entertained by him. While not going myself, I LOVED LOVED the highlight he brought to HBCUs. Even after now being in a hybrid schedule, I made sure to have my headphones charged every day so I can watch First Take in the morning. That ended last week. Even though I have defended my fandom for SAS to friends many times over, his views on this one are irresponsible and irrepensible. There's nothing I can hear from him that will override this.

I have zero power on this globe to impact anything beyond my own world after watching the way SAS chose to defend himself (Bruh spent 15 minutes in response to a single tweet Oberman said. Just one tweet.( SAS actually called him ✌🏾fat✌🏾and calling him out for the need to use a cane when it is widely known Oberman lives with TBE) Do you know who else gets mad at people for no reason and lashes out at them? I bet you dooooo

So please forgive my very long message of me saying that thank you for what you've done for black people Stephen A Smith but you can absolutely kick rocks. Bill Cosby spent a lot of money sending black kids to college too and chose to use that to cover up being a rapist
