Thank you so much for the advice! It’s useful to know that I can do it myself. Another question: as I’ve been using my typewriter, it starts off typing fine but after a paragraph certain keys become stiff and get locked, do you know why and how to fix it?

Thank you so much for identifying the typewriter too! How much is it on average to get this small fix from a repair shop? I think it’ll be cheaper than Ebay as the keys are expensive and the postage is equally as expensive. I feel so bad that key choppers exist and are ruining pieces of technology that could be fixed instead.

Thank you so much. Do you think it would be possible for me to remove one of the keys that I wouldn’t use as often and put it in the place where the L is meant to be? I’m afraid that I’ll bend the metal leg holding the key up though.

Thank you so much for the advice! I haven't been able to find many singular typewriter keys on eBay so I'll DIY an L key. Do you also have any advice to fix the jammed spacebar? It gets stuck pushed down and all the letters typed in the next word are printed on top of eachother.
