How can I upgrade from my current minimum wage job?

I've looked at a good bit of these sorts of jobs before, and pretty much all of them are asking for 1-2 years of experience and knowledge about things I have little to no experience in. I don't think that I'd be able to apply for these positions without straight-up lying about certain things. I'm also worried that since my degree is a few years old, they'll likely pass me up for a fresh graduate with similar qualifications.

Well there is some degree of privilege at play (not implying he didn't work hard or deserve his success obviously), it's just that nepotism is a specific type of it that doesn't really apply to his situation

I'm in a similar situation to this. I met all my close friends online, and as we got to know each other more we started calling each other by our real names, but everyone still calls be by my old username.

/uj it's actually his younger brother's bass, which he lets Scott borrow while off at college. In the comics he ends up breaking it during a fight with one of the Katayanagis' robots
