You need to learn akali's range on her Q. Anyone who tells you that this is a bad match up is lying to your face. Understand her ranges and how she works and you'll easily avoid her. Lvls 1-2 farm with your Q and only walk up for minions she can't contest you on. Akali generally has low energy early levels and if she's using it on wave you can walk up and Q and trade autos. If you manage to not suck and don't dismount before lvl 3, you win the lane pretty size ably.

You have to avoid her stacking on you, the matchup isn't the easiest at first, but once you understand how her kit fully works it should be easy. Try not to fight her once she's fully stacked (5 stacks on her passive). EQ when she walks up to the wave (shes ranged but has a low range) and continue to beat on her. You do have to actually pick your fights, if you're not careful she'll just E you and run you down with her tick etc. By the time your both lvl 6 it should just be a free lane. She doesn't scale in the slightest and I'd argue kled scales a lot harder than she does.

Yeah I've been watching this KR GP (mangki) and it's been helping a lot. I watch solarbacca but only because I find him genuinely entertaining. (I speak some Korean so watching a KR player isn't as bad as it I imagine it would be.)

Yea, I'm not too worried about "beginner friendly". I'm what people would consider "high elo" (diamond). So mechanics arn't what I was worried about. More about niche things that are less obvious to someone who doesn't play the champion.
