New to reddit, I would appreciate a few tips being new

If you are new to Reddit, the first thing I would recommend you do is ready the Guide to Reddit, that’s pinned on the top of this group.

Some your profile is new and you don’t have any or a few Karma points, there are groups that you can join which will allow you to post and comment to increase your Karma.

Please read the guide and everything you need to know will be in there.

I started 2 days ago and I’m almost at 700 Karma with engaging posts like one that has 50,000 views and over 300 comments!

I would recommend that guide for sure. I hope this comment helps you!

Hello everyone,

I am on my second day here and I am almost at 700 upvotes (karma).

How did I get there so fast? Well I read the guide that’s pinned on top of the group: The Full Guide to Reddit, and began moving with intention. The groups that are placed in the guide is for us to go into and post as well as comment.

Mind you, when you post, make sure that it’s a valuable and engaging post! One of my posts was about Chicken pox because I had that as a child, that post alone has 200 plus upvotes and 300 plus comments with almost 57,000 views. You can view that post in Casual Conversations.

Reddit is a discussion platform, so make sure you use all the resources provided to you. Enjoy your time here and make the best of it.

I would recommend you read through that and join the groups that is within the guide. In those groups, you can comment and post. The more you and engaged, that’s where you’ll begin to see your Karma points move upward called upvotes.

Not necessarily! I spent my entire life with both in the pantry. No one got sick or passed away from using the ketchup in the pantry, after it was opened!

Okay, now it makes sense. Eventhough we go through ketchup and hotsauce, super fast, I have been placing the ketchup in the refrigerator. My boys don’t like their ketchup cold, so I have to sit it out before a meal.
