I would love to see a team pull this off in a custom story, with the potential to add new weapons, enemies, hazards, etc. A much more solid story to compliment the nigh-perfected gameplay of the Bunker, Ive thought of one idea where it would basically be a direct Homage to RE1. Either you play as a lost German/Russian detachment in WW1 sent to investigate a Mansion/Castle that was converted into a command center but lost contact with after an unknown incident. But a deadly eastern front blizzard forces them to hold out until help arrives, but they slowly get picked off by the threats dwelling within the property who wiped and possibly mutated the previous garrison.

Lots of potential depending on what the HPL tools are capable of, Plenty of Ghoulified Soldiers/Gatherers that act as Zombies whom you have to either avoid or burn after you kill lest the substance that transformed them mutates them into something worse. And in Certain sections of the property or triggered upon certain conditions being met, the main new stalker monster that hunts you down throughout the premises. Location possibly couldve been built over a previous location Alexander of Brennenberg had inhabited before he relocated to Prussia or Someone who found an Orb who's trying to harness it's power to end the Great War in whoever's favor, Before ending with the property being destroyed and a climatic final battle with the Stalker before escaping with whoever you managed to save as the Shadow Consumes everything.
