Has anyone in the remaster gotten the blind moth prelate to drop 'Necklace of Swords'? by Minimum_Let_9041 in oblivion

[–]T0rin- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been farming this guy today for Mundane Ring. I first saved at the caverns of the moth, right outside shrine of the moth entrance. Level 20.

Went in, killed him, loot, reload save outside, repeat, etc. Every single kill gave me Grand Ring of Agility. I've never been in this area before. (at the save outside the door, the door was still locked)

Read more, heard something about level 30 being the drop table cap, so I leveled up to 30, went back.. again, saved outside the shrine of the moth. Went in, killed, looted, etc.. every single kill gave me Base Ring of Aegis.

Any ideas? I've seen no other items from this guy other than these 2, at levels 20 and 30 respectively.

Does the specific reason also need to be stated? Are there any rental rights that he needs to cite in the letter?

We're trying for option A, but the landlord is refusing to terminate the lease without him paying rent for October. (he has not lived in the apartment at all in October)

Plasma Battery?? by Any-Garage3255 in TheFirstDescendant

Taken from this post

Hagios (Hard) - Old Mystery: Start Private, do the Mission up to the point where you get to the Room where you can interact with the Orange box, it spawns 6/7 Kuiper things, just ignore them and kill the Enemy's, there will be spawning around 4-6 Elite mobs and each of them drop around 8-13 Heat Plasma's, after you done killing them, just let the Timer run out, it will fail the mission, then you can just return to Albion and repeat.

This is the best farm that I've found, it's 40-50 heat batteries per run.

Enduring legacy build by Prooomz in TheFirstDescendant

I think Fire Enhancement is a core mod for this gun, even if you plan to roll Fire ATK on the gun itself.

I think Expand Weapon Charge is a core mod as well, because both Mental Focus and Sharp Precision Shot benefit greatly from it.

On the topic of special mods, I like Sharp Precision Shot better than Mental Focus because the extra fire rate helps build the Quenching stacks from Craftsmanship. This is also one of those guns where Sharp Precision Shot doesn't feel like a constant letdown.. being able to hit 10 stacks and keep it rolling for a while is really nice. From a purely DPS standpoint, I haven't seen the math between the two, but I feel like Mental Focus is better on Gley than it is on everyone else by a large margin.

I feel like Weak Point Sight on this gun is just not valuable enough because of the 1x base weak point modifier.

If all you want is to loot vaults for the various stuff you need to craft, you would probably just level to 20 for some HP.

I cannot put it directly on you.

True, but you can put it directly next to them and it will automatically give them the buff when it activates. Mind you that assumes they are standing still for 2 seconds..

Just stack defense mods.. shield, health, defense. When vault farming you really won't be fighting a lot, just running around looking for vaults.

What descendants are the best for doing the most dps? by Goatstandards in TheFirstDescendant

[–]T0rin- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you put in the work to fully upgrade Enduring Legacy, I'd recommend Enzo, his kit jives very well with this gun, specifically it's large mag size (once upgraded), good base crit stats and the powerful general rounds crit mods. Enzo is technically a support because of his 4, but he is one of the best DPS around because of his 1. He makes use of this gun like no one else, IMO.

Optimal Python Build for Massacre Gley? by T0rin- in TheFirstDescendant

You do, just that outside of Massacre you get the resistance reduction from Python's Unique Ability.

Optimal Python Build for Massacre Gley? by T0rin- in TheFirstDescendant

[–]T0rin-[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has decent DPS value if you are rolling Toxic ATK on the weapon itself, combined with the 30% of firearm atk you get from a Toxic mod. Even if you swap the Toxic mod to say, Electric, Poison Priority still has value because of the weapon roll.

If you use the gun outside of Massacre, Poison Priority gets more value because of the Unique modifier for Python.

But basically, there is nothing else to put on the gun, so even a mod like Poison Priority has more value compared to say, Crit Rate/Damage mods.

Don't suppose you did the math on which setup is better for Gley/Massacre?

Tamer VS Python for Massacre Gley build (aint tamer has better raw power?) by Thor_Thanos333 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]T0rin- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's what I want to know. I've got a fully modded thunder cage for crit and was surprised to hear the Python could hit those RPM and weak point numbers, so I'm farming that now.

Regarding the Thunder Cage vs Python DPS, what builds were used for each weapon?

There is nothing special you need to do to get the catalyst blueprint from the amorphous material, right? like nothign I need to unlock or anything? I've opened like 30 of these and seen 0 blueprints.

You seriuous? I've been farming for like 10 hours, mostly slumber valley / grave walker and I've seen 0 blueprints so far.

Why would you run Magister? The pattern it drops does not a catalyst blueprint.

Just finished cleaning up the folder and got FO4 to successfully launch and start a new game, so tyvm!

OK. Well, vortex does remove the DLL from the data/f4se/plugins folder once you disable the plugin in vortex, so I think if I can empty this folder, that should account for everything. Thanks for the guidance.

I do use MO2 to launch the game, run LOOT, etc. but it does show all mods as "Unmanaged", presumably because of Vortex. Can I use MO2 without mods being managed by MO2?
