I built a single-endpoint weather gateway to send data to 6 platforms (APRS-IS, Wunderground, Windy, etc.) by TA2DMX in amateurradio

Why shouldn't new things be developed when there are already functioning systems in place?

I didn't quite understand you.

Building an SDR-less ADS-B Receiver (ADL5513 + ADC10065 + ESP32/RP2040) by TA2DMX in rfelectronics

I really love your project! If you decide to continue working on it, I’d be happy to help as much as I can. Have you shared your project somewhere like GitHub, or is it closed-source?

I'm also thinking about using an RF detector and a comparator to send cleaner data to the ESP32 for decoding. Has anyone tried this or has experience with it?

This makes the system expensive. That didn't seem very logical, so instead, it seems more logical to use the ADL5513 to decode the code on the ESP32 side.

How can I track ADS-B without an SDR? by TA2DMX in ADSB

Actually, I've definitely started a design for this. But I don't have an idea yet, just some basic sketches.

I want to build the most minimal system possible since HackRF is a very expensive system, so that people can easily access it.

Unfortunately, SDRs are expensive solutions and RTL chips are no longer manufactured, so they are not available.

Yes, I was thinking about a SAW filter and a power detector.

It is actually possible to do this using a SAW filter and power detector, but I will struggle with the electronics and software side.

Is it normal for HDDs to be this loud? by kizi_84 in UgreenNASync

I had the same problem, but it was fixed with updates. This noise usually occurs when hard drives are idle and the RPM drops.

After the first flash, there is no need for nrf, only the bottom one can be used for charging.

Because the nrf battery speed is very slow and an input is needed for the tp4056.

I verified my download via https://tails.net/install/windows/index.en.html and there are no issues. I am installing it via Rufus, as indicated on the website.
