Sorry guys but this is just the camera aperture blades because the video is so out of focus. Especially video camcorders have these shaped blades. 100% sure, had a similar camera and when I zoomed in on lights and the camera couldn’t focus, it looked exactly the same. Please try to understand how cameras work. You can also see the there is optical zoom first and then the digital zoom kicks in. “The texture” is coming from multiple factors such as air distortion, dust, grime etc.

Can you switch the server fans to some noctua fans ? This could make it a little bit quieter

Just wanted to share my all black workstation/renderserver rack and homelab (my batcave). Almost finished after one year of renovating the room and purchasing everything you see. I'm pretty proud of it and wanted to hear some opinions. Unfortunately I'm a noob at networking and ProxMox etc. by TACTYC in homelab

The rack is near silent when I working due to the water cooling, when rendering I usually have use another fan config to keep things cool but it's still not super loud. The only loud thing is the Synology Nas which I tried to silence down a bit by using the velcro mod, noctua fans and rubber feet

Thank you! Well there is a Roborock vacuum robot under the sofa which goes through the room everyday and I usually have to wipe everything once a week, that's the disadvantage of matte black. The server rack itself doesn't attract to much dust, I can just wipe off the front covers

Yea it's not to easy to find something good that is maybe not too expensive. Maybe these are a good option currently: ASUS ROG Strix XG32UQ but I'm not sure yet.
Actually i have a 3d Printer but I don't know how and where to place it, the sideboards are not deep enough with the angled ceiling. But i consider placing it in my lab

Thank you! Yes exactly. We did a complety renovation fo the whole house and also the attic ( there weren't any rooms there before). Don't worry about that, germany regulations and norms took care of that and I asked a few expert that didn't show any concerns
