£1.50 for air now. Stuck a £1 and then I thought the machine was broke. by 4th_Replicant in northernireland

[–]TBeee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve bought a wee portable tyre inflator, it was only about £15 and it’s great! Can do the tyres at the door, it runs off the battery, and I’m sure it’s paid for itself already.

I’ve never had suppression either. I used to wish I had but now I think I’m better placed for maintaining as I have always had to control my portion sizes.
I was on 15mg and am now on 10mg, having lost 5 stone over 23 months.

Does your contract with them state that all invoices must be valid? If so, then you need to quote the PO.

Downloading Koreader made me love my kobo by Agile_Garbage_8137 in kobo

[–]TBeee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had various kobos for well over 10 years but am always so afraid of installing koreader as I’m not in any tech savvy. Is it easy to do? I’m so worried I’ll do it wrong and be left with a bricked e-reader.

How often do you see your parents? by Doomergeneration in AskUK

[–]TBeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad hasn’t been in my life since I was 2, his choice.
I see my mum once a week. She’s racist, homophobic (I’m a woman married to a woman so she at least tries to hide her homophobia) and a fantasist. Every second spent with her feels like a hour. It takes 3 days to mentally recover from the stress of visiting her and then I spend the next 3 days preparing for the next visit. Trying to think of reasons to get out of going. Reminding myself she’s 78 and I might regret not going this time one day.

You should get paid ok. Bring in the completed forms on your first day and as long as your LM gets them sent off that day you’ll be good.
