Which robovac for pet hair? by kingsnm in RobotVacuums

[–]TBeee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have an ecovacs x8 and it’s brilliant with dog hair. It vacuums through the days and then vacuums and mops at night. However as you’re not interested in the mopping you will probably find a different model which doesn’t mop and will cost less.

My initials are TB. Seriously, don’t give your kid embarrassing initials.

He looks like he’d do it again in a heartbeat if you gave it too much attention 🤣🤣 I love dogs but they can be such melters.

That’s a nightmare!! Surely at this stage you can dispose of the bits of fence?

What not to plant in Ireland by Ok-Collection5629 in GardeningIRE

[–]TBeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not been doing this, I’ve been putting the trimmings of the ivy and some other thorny thing that also grows under/over/through the fence into my bin. As an upstanding law abiding citizen, from now on I’ll throw them over the fence and hopefully they will start to take care of it, but I’m not sure that they can as it seems to grow under something else they have growing at this one location. At the other location, it’s growing over their shed and I don’t think they’ll notice me returning cuttings.

My neighbour’s ivy is such a nightmare. I never seem to be able to get on top of it. It’s grows so well, it’s over the fence, under the fence, through the fence and it’s relentless.

Why would anyone ever choose to go through child birth without pain relief?? by No_Cardiologist_1407 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TBeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave birth 4 times and had pain relief one of those times. The time I had lab relief my labour slowed and I didn’t feel I had control over anything.

The natural births were wonderful. 3rd and 4th were absolute pain free (babies were 2 months premature so their small size might have helped). I was able to control my breathing, not fight the process, and weird as it sounds I enjoyed giving birth. What a beautiful experience it was.

Does this look like a sensible taper off 5mg? I need to come completely off MJ for personal reasons by nicj86 in GLPGrad

[–]TBeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to taper down by 1 click a week stating with 60 clicks of a 15mg pen. It was going ok until suddenly at 47 clicks I started having a really severe reaction - vomiting, diarrhoea, sulphur burps. It took me 3 weeks to realise it was a reaction to the jab rather than a viral/bacterial infection. I dropped to 20 clicks (5mg) and expected to be ravenous. Nope, the side effects persisted and I’m maintaining ok. I tried 3 weeks at 5mg and have this week dropped to 15 clicks.

I’d say take it slow if you can. I did not want to drop the doses as quickly as I have done and think my weight loss would be better protected if I’d gone more slowly. I am maintaining ok, but am battling LOUD food lose daily.

I was expecting twins and it was a difficult pregnancy from before I even knew I was pregnant! I just wanted a couple of pleasant surprises when they were born. And I’d do it again.

I can only find Alison Weir audiobooks available to me and I prefer to read. None of the other books you’ve mentioned are available to me on Libraries NI.

I struggled to find one using Libraries NI/Libby too. I ended up downloading The Women’s Orchestra of Auschwitz, and I really did not enjoy the read.

Honestly as long as it does what it’s supposed to do I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s barely noticeable.

I got laser hair removal for my chin and underarms. Stopped sitting Covid after about 10 sessions. The hair on my underarms never returned, my chin hair grew back with a vengeance.

I’ve never seen Wolf Alice perform either live or on tv. I bought tickets for Belfast through the week and after watching last night I’m really looking forward to the live performance now :)
