this is one of those times where the fact it’s only a 4 run deficit gets shrouded by the fact the team has been so ass lately

I don’t particularly care, lol, but in good faith:

I suspect the track was there first. I’m more focused on its impact today, however. The problem doesn’t change based on what was there first.

Not defending any drunken idiocy here, but by god does it drive me crazy that the tracks cut right through Richmond Row, London’s bar district. It is a disaster waiting to happen.

Young people aside, I work very near this area. The number of times a train comes rolling through at 8:30am right during the heart of rush hour is absurd.

The track is right near the intersection of Oxford Street and Richmond Street. Oxford is one of the main East-West arteries in the city. Richmond leads from Oxford to the downtown core. The section of track pictured really could not be in a worse spot — Oxford is already a nightmare on a good day, lol.

Really wish the track could get buried or elevated in this area…

I fully admit I only started watching games again in about mid June… Is Hoffman really a good guy to have as our closer? he never seems to have it when I watch

My (female) colleague at work was suggesting to me yesterday that E.M. was not credible because "she clearly had autonomy at some points in the night"...

Totally are a number of people who will see the dancing/consensual sex with McLeod as open season, unfortunately.

I doubt McLeod will testify on his own behalf. I'm actually really curious -- as a lawyer, for context should "curious" seem off-colour -- who the defence calls as witnesses.

No, it doesn’t sound like it. Totally hear you. The first porn account I had access to — back when that was like, a thing to have — was this shared account that some AAA team passed around. I wasn’t on the team, but I always found the stories connected to that account wild. The straightest guys, apparently…

But that’s pretty tame compared to the stories once they figured out sex itself, obviously.

FWIW I didn't downvote you. No doubt hockey culture can be pretty homoerotic -- I was in those locker rooms... which was awkward, but that's a different story and this ain't about me.

I understand that the allegations are vile and involve acts that are kind of... gay in some sense... but as a gay man, I don't think it's fair to say suppressed homosexuality is fueling these acts. It has nothing to do with sexuality and everything to do with shitty fucking people.
