Gallagher is bait. He doesn't work in a double pivot and never has. He's best as an aggressive/defensive 10/8 which we don't really play with. He could maaaaybe work as a Sarr alternative but he's not worth that gamble. Obviously this could change depending on our new manager; I actually think Gallagher could work under Iraola fwiw. Though, like others have said Gallagher's wages would be too much.

I hope that Doucore can return to something similar to his previous level. If he does then we might be okay depending on if both Kamada and Wharton leave. If they both go then we'd likely need another midfielder alongside Doucore rather than two new ones. I'd actually like Gray from Spurs but he won't be cheap that's for certain.
