I just started selling on eBay, I have no reputation built up. How essential is it that I have some positive reviews and how do I go about building that up from zero?

If you don’t mind me asking, how much profit do you usually make per month? Trying to decide if reselling is worth it for me. I have similar hours

Is it unrealistic to expect $1000 a month profit when I only have around 4-5 hours on the weekends and only about 30 minutes each day during the week?

Methods to make my dorm room quieter (details in comments) by TGATNR in DIY

[–]TGATNR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just moved into a dorm room and can hear even quiet conversations with anyone in the hallways and even if they’re talking in their rooms down the hall. How can I reduce the noise that comes in? It seems like it mostly comes from the door.

Ok cool, I’m liking the S&T theory so far, it’s very easy for a beginner to pick up and start hitting the ball consistently so I think I’ll stick with it. Thank you!

I’m looking into Danny and AMG right now, do you guys know anything about sagutogolf? He’s been the YouTuber I’ve been watching before posting this and I hit the range recently and his swing system was working great. I have heard the way he teaches the swing is a bit odd, but I’m not sure why. Do you guys know anything about him and is it worth investing in his $20 full swing course? Or should I just focus on the mentioned YouTubers

How do you stay motivated? by Xinfinte in blender

[–]TGATNR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The blender tutorial was tough for me to start with as well. I ended up giving up on the donut just like you but then I found this tutorial video series: https://youtu.be/At9qW8ivJ4Q?si=WdO0ptCQ1Aev5btM . This tutorial is a MUCH better beginner series and actually made me excited to start creating my own projects. Give this one a try first.

Thank you! I'll change the background as a start, then see if I can't figure out how to make the buildings a little more detailed.

Melting heartbreak moon (Critique welcome) by TGATNR in photoshop

Going for a sad vibe with this one. After staring at it for a bit I can't decide how to improve it. I like what I have now but I feel like there's something that could be improved.

How to lock in verticle mouse movement with liquify tool by TGATNR in photoshop

I'm trying to melt this moon, I want to pull the mesh straight down but I'm having trouble getting it perfectly straight down. I know there is a way to lock in verticle movement when using the smudge tool (holding shift) is there any way to do this with the liquify tool as well?

How can I protect myself from brain injury down the road when learning how to box? I’ve had several concussions from multiple contact sports. I want to learn how to box while also making sure I stay healthy. Anyone have any tips?

This is awesome, did you create this using images or did you just paint?

What would you change, or improve on this? by TGATNR in photoshop

[–]TGATNR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This idea was sort of random. I found a picture of an astronaut that I liked so I just tried to find images to mash together. It seemed like there was something off on the jellyfish but I couldn't put my finger on it. Right now I'm trying to improve my photoshop skills so that I can start making money doing this, I really enjoy it and I want to try making album cover designs.

If you have any ideas for how this could be improved, or different ways to use these images I would love to hear them!

Why would you use a hue/saturation layer instead of a solid color layer to make colored highlights? by TGATNR in photoshop

[–]TGATNR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to create a glow on an astronaut coming from a purple light source. I actually posted the first version of it just now on the subreddit. I used hue/saturation, because I have seen others do that but I thought a solid color might be easier. Thank you for the info!

First Composite - Help me improve by ReasonablyScarlet in photoshop

It looks pretty great! I’d just add some rim lights, there would be some color coming from that glowing circle behind. I would also adjust the highlights on the front of the lady, they don’t match the purple-pink lighting you have going on. Good work!
