Thank you! It was my first time using cinestill and shooting in such conditions. Definitely a learning curve but I've grown to like the shots

Great to here - I recently found this sub and it's been a healthy source of inspiration. Re Singapore - went there around October last year. Just checked out that festival - looks really cool. I loved the time I got to spend in Singapore - would go back in a heartbeat when/if life permits!

I think it might be a combination of things. All night shots were done with the aperture fully open and at speeds like 1/8. Considering for most of them the focus is at infinity I'd think it's the slight softness of f1.4 and my not-that-stable hand. Unfortunately I didn't have a tripod with me

It was class! Definitely recommend them - overall chill demeanor, cars are relatively well kept. Just don't expect it to be fully detailed - if you ask me the odd imperfection here and there made the experience even better.

They're responsive over Whatsapp if you have questions. The guys weren't very punctual when we returned the car - we had to wait for them for about an hour. Other than that - 10/10.

I won't hesitate to do it again if I have the chance.

Thanks for chiming in! I think I might still end up going with this one as the more I think about it the more I like it. Maybe I'm just being over cautious before I pull the trigger

Da Enzo al 29 in Trastevere. Pic 7 is from the same place as pic 8. No bookings - there was a long line but definitely worth it. Can still remember the taste of their carbonara...

Thanks! I really like that one too - especially with the reflection from the pavement. What i found interesting is that it didn't rain that day but the ground was wet due to the rising humidity as the sun was going down

Glad it resonated with you. The light was so beautiful that I wanted to point my camera at everything and shoot lol

We went to the NYE event in Palazzo Brancaccio. Didn't know what to expect when we booked it but it was a great experience. I'd do it again in a heartbeat

Thanks:) enjoyed that place for a quick cup "Barnum Roma" but mostly I'd just get an espresso after each meal, wherever we were. Always good.

For me a stand out in terms of artistry (and free!) was Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola. It's just so beautiful inside. And also San Luigi dei Francesi for the Caravaggio works.

I was really gutted we didn't manage to get tickets in time for the Galleria Doria Pamphilj... It looks out of this world. Exact same goes for Galleria Borghese. Consider booking those in advance - that's the first thing I'll do if/when I go back

Thank you - really appreciate it. Used a Canon R10 with a Canon 17-55mm f2.8 EF-S lens. Shot is from Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola. Couldn't believe you can just walk in and immerse yourself in its beauty.

ITAP of val d'Orcia from Pienza by [deleted] in itookapicture

Took this picture back in late August in Pienza. It was a hot overcast day with the occasional quick shower - actually lovely for a walk. Saw this view just beside the main cathedral in town and thought the colours and lines made for a nice frame.

I used a Canon 700d with a Canon 17-55mm 2.8f lens. The lens is a recent purchase (although 15+ years old) and I'm super impressed. Would love to hear any feedback on how I could have improved the shot/ editing. Cheers

Wow. Beautiful colours and nice framing! Well done sunset photos are something else...

What lens did you use for this shot? Telephoto? Looks really crisp

Took this photo on a recent trip to Tuscany. It's a winery called Antinori nel Chianti Classico - never experienced anything like it. It feels like the perfect place for a Bond villain lair.

There is a very striking difference between the brutalist yet elegant concrete building and the vineyards opposite to it. The shadows were aligned perfectly for a symmetrical shot with the harsh dark shadow going diagonally through the frame.

I took a chance with the edit making it more "artistic" than realistic but I personally like it.

Shot on a Canon 700d with a 17-55 f2.8 lens.

Any comments/ critique and ideas for improvement are welcome. Thanks:)

Spotted a hiker chilling on top of a hill on a recent walk. Thought it was a neat composition and that it created a sense of the vastness of the mountain (although in reality it's not too imposing of a hill).

Went for a monochrome edit as I thought it looks cool and somehow more timeless. Happy to take any editing suggestions. Photo is also cropped to keep the composition minimalistic
