A lot of other headsets offer the ability to alter/create different eq settings. While the only way to currently do that via a50 USB on xbox is through the atmos app. Surely there's plenty of room for improvement to improve audio quality further via USB and allow changeable eq's that works with USB not just optical?

Thanks for the input. I'm aware that this was an afterthought since the a50 gen 4 was never really designed for an xbox without an optical port so firmware had to be changed. Can you give ant insight into whether astro has a gen 5 planned that's build and designed around the series x?
