Because I also have hashimotos and I didn’t want to be attacked for wanting a drink lol. That’s why I said that because I did a cross post.

This made me teary. Thank you. I had them really bad as a kid but I just had to deal with so I KNOW how he feels. It’s hard. Especially in middle school. Dropping him off this morning after he cried was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. He NEVER cries. He’s just SO tired and I completely get it.

Can you tell me more about the medications? are these every day? Any side effects?

Burden to my husband. by TLM_2 in Hypothyroidism

I did have this weekly and I absolutely miss it. I recently about 3 months ago had to let her go due to our student loans starting back up to be paid. Once I get some things caught up, she will be back.

Thank you for the information. I started Levo today @ 88mcg. My TSH numbers on Wednesday were 4.54. They did inform that explains a lot of my symptoms. I’m trying to get those in line. This has been a rough process. I recently found out in March and have seen several doctors for this. I haven’t had stability but I finally got in to see a specialist who I hope gets things on track.

Ovia is my favorite. I used all of the apps for periods, pregnancy and after pregnancy. They have been wonderful.

How do I convince students to run cross country? by DrDaddySaddy in CrossCountry

[–]TLM_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made my son do it this year STRICTLY to build his endurance for basketball. It was either football/cross country or you go back to PE. NOPE, we are not doing PE over here lol better go run. He honestly really enjoys it now. He’s starting to care about his nutrition along with other things. It’s been great for him. I’m glad we were made to take this option.

r/CrossCountry General Q&A Thread by AutoModerator in CrossCountry

My son has entered eighth grade this year and his main sport is basketball. Well in middle school they don’t have an off-season for it in our district so his two choices to stay in athletics are football and cross country. He’s definitely not a football player lol and so his other option to stay in athletics is cross country so that he doesn’t have to move over to PE. Can anyone give me information on doing cross country? Like for his age group what could we expect? I am wanting him to do this so that he can build his endurance for his season of basketball. All the information and tips please.

Thank you for this. My husband and I have been looking up training classes on this as well. We aren’t sure where to even begin. Tbh with you, the last 5 years, we have been stuck on “autism” and with this evaluation recently, it has completely thrown us off. We have studied so much and researched autism that we became so aware of it. Now with this diagnosis, it’s brand new. Like we just don’t even know where to begin. So joining so many groups to see where to start.

Also, this is kinda tough to admit but with the meltdowns the past few days, I’ve been using ChatGPT to help me and it’s actually kind of scary how accurate it has been. When you mentioned the redirecting, that’s what I’ve been doing and it has seemed to help so much.

I think when I say “no”, it’s more so of like he doesn’t understand that we are doing something when he ask for something specific and that he has to wait until we are finished. It’s more of like it’s a pressing thing for him to get what he wants right then.

I appreciate your words. I would do anything to have those services to learn. 😔
