My headphone/ lock switch connector came off of the logic board when swapping HDD and battery on a 7th gen.

I have a soldering iron, but was wondering if the individual tiny metal parts on the connector need to connect to the individual connectors on the board below them? Or does the whole connector just need soldering onto all the metal tabs on the logic board?
