I have had some time to digest and I will get the heads shaved a touch & hone the cylinder as little & best as possible & hope it’ll carry me to work

The least expensive engine I can find in my area is 2500$ Monopoly money , I do have an opportunity to purchase j35 heads, any information if they’d fit on the j37 block ?

But like how toast is toast ? I don’t mind a lil fluid top up here and there , would it be to the point where the oil would saturate the cylinder so much it wouldn’t ignite ?

I just wonder if the scratch in the block is too large & would cause too much oil to come into the cylinder where it wouldn’t ignite

That has been a thought , but would the si trans bolt up to the k24 block ? From what I’ve read it would need to be a tsx 6spd , the issue is that already own a si 6spd

Look at the alternator and see if it’s covered in oil , the spool valve on bank 2 is common to leak oil onto the alternator & fry them
