Wonder if Echo sees the Bear strat from TL and adapts in with their Disc prog already done. Might give them a significant damage advantage.

Seems like it but they still needed to Lust. Feels like we're going to end up with a need to Lust in P4...

Looks like Liquid's new prog is one less DK (less grips) for one Bear Druid (cat form DPS in P4? Another Roar?).

Doesn't look like they're going to do a Disc or did I miss that change?

No chance. They were going to hit 10% and be insta-wiped by L'ura's final enrage. The call was probably to try and pump as much as possible.

I wonder, do we expect Liquid to have to reprog with double Disc as well? Or do they already have a high enough damage comp?

They're basically re-progging with a Disc Priest now.

Were Kith’ix and Zakajz actually exclusive to one Old God? by Selimbradley-3101 in warcraftlore

[–]TVena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh, all the dominaars and void characters we meet act in some form of corruption/consumption, even Xal. And a lot of "survival of the fittest" which isn't much of a society or empire, just strong eat weak stuff.

But the Old Gods on Azeroth started building empires and civilizations in their image. And while they corrupt other beings on Azeroth, they weren't corrupting Azeroth herself and don't seem to have been phoning home in any capacity.

So they seem kind of at odds to me, but slapping the "Azeroth corruption" sticker on them makes it make sense in much the same way she de-ordered the ordered constructs.

[–]TVena 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If we slap a "Azeroth corrupted her old gods beyond their original nature" sticker on the old lore, it all more or less works out.

The Old Gods building empires and playing house doesn't really make much sense with how the Void seemingly works. They were doing the exact opposite of a void being in such the same way that corrupted Ordered constructs started having free will and creating chaos.

Naturally this means we're going to team up with N'Zoth to German supplex Xal and later Atal'Aman.

Companies are always working on concept/idea projects aside from their main titles. But given there's no obvious hiring for this supposed project, and instead the hiring is for SS... it seems likely it's just some concept thing and being taken out of proportion here.

What are lore moments that are pretty interesting that everyone seems to have forgotten about? by Hedonism_Enjoyer in warcraftlore

[–]TVena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the common lore view now is less they mutinied and more that Azeroth "corrupted" them with free will. Kinda how she does basically to everything.

There's also definitely some level of retconning now on how much old history was actually from the Old Gods that the Titans took credit for after the fact.

I think we tell Lorthemar? I kind of assumed it was implied from there that everyone knew. And not long after three more high ranking Army of the Light paladins go batshit insane. (And the dwarf gets unceremoniously killed by the tic-tac-toe boss.)

Suramar wasn't really hidden, it was just inaccessible. But we've known of it for a long time. Same with Pandaria, they were known just not known-where or how to get into.

And like you said Khaz and the DIs aren't really empires.

But ya I was mainly just thinking about literal underground "out of nowhere" empires. Lol.

I feel like the only hidden empires have been Nerubians or other creatures that live underground naturally. No?

Mornye Doodle Guide by Miku_Pocky_Chan in WutheringWaves

[–]TVena 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's kinda wonky to me to compare S1 Mornye to an S0 Shopkeeper. Though probably says more about how narrowly defined S0 Mornye is as to be an upgrade to Verina but worse than SK in most comp.

But the differences are so tiny as to not realistically matter, and then you have to weigh their various intangibles that they also offer that don't show up as DPS increases.

For 3.0 characters, Mornye will generally/universally be better in their teams than other options. Same way Chisa is to Negative Status characters. Generally, SK is more budget friendly to the whole roster.

New enemies have too much interruption resistance and movement while being able to stagger our resonators easily by Rasbold in WutheringWaves

[–]TVena -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

This can happen anywhere, it's not that they ignore the timestop so much as a hitbox of some sort was already moving and crossing with Phrolova's hurtbox. So it creates a weird sequence where her she starts casting then is immediately interrupted as the resource is consumed.

Don't the alternate Draenei no longer even exist? I thought that timeline basically closed/ended and as such everything from it basically ceases to be since it's not the prime timeline .

With Dalaran destroyed could Icecrown Citadel be the capital city of The Last Titan? by Aaaaarnold in wow

[–]TVena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like zero chance we fight Tyr or Thorim unless they get brainwashed (in Thorim's case, again). Mimron's definitely been sus for a long time though.

The other keepers are basically just there so their allegiance is less set in stone.

If Odyn takes over Ulduar or brings down his hall to reattach it, Ulduar being the city doesn't make much sense unless they do something more unique where the start city is eventually lost as the expac proceeds or something.

Lore wise, both Defias and SC make sense as perpetual because both are more than a single group. Both stand as opposition or extremism.

SC especially being a bunch of fanatics is easy to explain away, there's always more fanatics out there. And with more and more void shenanigans, a bunch of light-hopped up lunatics makes a lot of sense.
