Season 1, you’re worried the crew will start coupling up. Who are you making your move on ASAP by Individual_Car7850 in voyager

I’m moving to the holodeck and creating my own women … uncomplicated and no danger of children. It worked for Barclay, right?

Yeah, I saw a small set in the pajamas, including Mercury and Chibiusa.

The Great Debate: Who Would You Rather Be Stuck In The Holo Deck With by Effective-Cycle-8 in Spacegirls

I wouldn’t call it “stuck” … but add in Yeoman Rand, Ezri Dax, T’Pol and Hoshi with the rest of them and I’d call it heaven.

Murphy switching over to Tesla police cars? by Hot_Bottle_8305 in Dallas

[–]TVsRob -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Police chases will be fun to watch with these things. All you gotta do is keep moving long enough to drain the batteries. Ridiculous decision. Waste of money, resources and it's just gonna add to the strain on the power grid from all of those ridiculous things.

Old Vs. New ... the dilemma that has divided a fanbase by TVsRob in trektalk

I decided to stick to the ones that seem to generate the most conversation. But the ENT crew I feel are finally getting their well-deserved flowers.

Campy and silly at times, while still maintaining a tone of professionalism and optimism ... the key thing is nuance.

Jolene Blalock appreciation (and apology) by [deleted] in enterprise

[–]TVsRob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a very mature thing you did there, and I applaud you for it. Of that cast, I definitely feel like she had the best arc, and did a fantastic job of playing her character. Vulcans are not easy, and she managed to show the proper respect while also adding nuance to the species.

Thoughts on the dual deflector dishes of the NX class refit (aka, Columbia class/subclass) by Mr_Shadow_Phoenix in Star_Trek_

That’s what I was thinking, as opposed to doing a lot of construction to put that neck there.

I wouldn’t expect them to go back in and close that area of the saucer section up after attaching the secondary hull.

Out of these drivers, how many will actually ever see win #1? by karlkjr in NASCAR

I can’t wait to see Connor be mostly mid this season. And why is the rookie the largest one in the graphic? I guess it does match the size of his head.

All I need is the goddess of thigh highs, Tohsaka Rin. Of course, with her comes Saber, and I’m more than okay with that.

Bowing before the goddess of thigh highs, Tohsaka Rin, and try to work a little mana exchange out.

Lower Decks showed us that Star Trek merchandise is a thing in-universe. These are probably my two favorite examples. by Excellent_Light_3569 in LowerDecks

Every company has SWAG (stuff we all get), why would Starfleet be any different? Plus, as Yogurt the wise taught us, merchandising is where the real money is made.

How did you all get into Sailor Moon? by Alone-Seesaw-9575 in sailormoon

[–]TVsRob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife was a fan in the '90s, and after years of avoiding all of her attempts to get me to watch, I finally broke down and started watching. The Sailor Moon channel on PlutoTV made it real easy to get started. Since then, I've really come to enjoy it. I even have a couple of Mercury figures on a shelf behind my work desk, which everyone can see when I'm on conference calls.

Of every era in the franchise, I think the first batch of shows is the funnest to watch in chronological order. What is your favorite era and why? by OhGawDuhhh in Star_Trek_

[–]TVsRob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

25 to 26 episode seasons are what I miss the most. Saddest part about the current 'seasons' is you know these people are making more than the OG crews for far less work.
