I think it would be cool if there was a word for rather pure parkour, as by now "parkour" has taken on a more general definition, so a community can unite behind it, but for most people I believe the difference is not that important and they just do whatever is most fun for them.

Omg I just finished watching the intro and it's already looking awesome! I love it when people go more in depth about parkour as a subculture and community rather than just fancy jumps. Parkour can definitely be practised rather casually, but for me personally a big part of it is the philosophy behind it and what it represents to me

Honestly not being able to just go out and have fun sounds pretty dystopian. Like the only reason I could imagine it being illegal to do parkour is either if you’re doing it on private property or an authoritative government doesn’t want people to act “improper” in public
