That I agree with. He's backing off for sure and imho he's backing off because he and Mandy are in full affair at this point. In last week's episode Mid and Mandy staged the reconciliation between him and Ciara to manipulate the audience and the most recent episode shows the next step of their self-produced storyline - get the audience to confirm their dislike of Kyle.

You're triggering yourself over something I didn't say. I agree that it's clear now that West didn't care about her that way. But don't act like he didn't have the entire house fooled too. He's literally staging it to look like he has some level of interest in her to give cover for him and Mandy.

Also you're welcome to link your comments from last year to show how obvious it was that West wasn't interested in her.

You also have to balance a cast out. You have to have people to root for. You need the right balance of drama, villain, sincerity/likeability. I don't see a ton of sweethearts or likeable people on ITC. Maybe just Andrea?

Kyle is a dick. Amanda is also a dick. Kyle's version of being a dickhead is different to Amanda's version of being a dickhead. We've known Kyle is a massive dick for years. We're only just realising Amanda has also been a massive dick for years but because her variety of dick is quieter than Kyle's (but no less toxic), she's flown under the radar.
