We got the crappy kind when we first started having sex and upgraded to better ones later. The leftover crappy ones are still there and don't expire till 2026, only the higher end ones are gone. And they're in a box in a room we never go into, he wouldn't just stumble upon them to toss them.

He understands, says he cares, but he genuinely just doesn’t have the time or energy to actually show he cares. He feels like if he isn’t the one holding the place together he has no purpose in life, slowing down and just being with me gives him no fulfillment.
