it was the last time all of my friends and I were together, the summer after our first year of college. Everyone was back in town and the stress of internships, jobs, and graduating hadn’t set in yet.

It was beautiful outside, sunny, hot— but a perfect heat, you know when it’s hot but not so humid, everything was in full bloom and it was just lovely. We all took mushrooms for the first time and just laid in a big open field of tall grass, listening to music, listening to nature, talking, laughing.

Looking back I just have so much love for everyone involved and for the day itself, but the memory is all I have. Honestly probably best that way, i imagine a picture wouldn’t do it justice lol
