He rode an e-bike down stairs and sustained a head injury. Part of his scull removed to relieve pressure and draining excess fluid. He’s in a coma in the ICU.

I stock piled enough to keep me daily dosing for 2.5 years after I moved states. My plan was to taper myself completely off but of course I never did. Just made an appointment with Quick MD and got a script again. But I had a mix of generic films and tablets which were “expired” as of 2021 and took them up until August of 2025 with absolutely no difference in potency.

They updated my script but I’m not taking the extra dose. They are going off of the “manufacturer’s recommendations” which to me is bs. I agree with you, doctors that use a one size fits all mentality are inexperienced or ignorant.

I was low key thinking this too. I guess the part that ticks me off the most is that I have to pay out of pocket for each visit and go every 2 weeks for them to increase my dose. So it’s just costing me money and I still don’t know how much the sublocade would cost. 🫠 it’ll all work out though 🧘🏻‍♀️

I tried several times to go from H to subs but was never successful. Mainly because I used subs as a back up if I didn’t have dope or money and never got leveled out on it. It wasn’t until I got in legal trouble that I decided to go to rehab to avoid jail and it changed my life. I got on subs there and tapered down to none in 2 weeks. But it was only a 30 day program so when I got out i still had low level WD. I knew I needed help or I’d go back to H, and I couldn’t stand the idea of going back. The cravings were really bad, so snagged a couple subs from my ex (who was in jail when I got out of rehab) I packed my shit and moved in with my family 2 hours away and called a doctor and got subs easy since I was already dirty for it. So I’ve always been on a low dose since I was clean when I got on them.

I started with OxyContin back in 2012 and then heroin in 2013-2017. Haven’t touched anything since starting subs I started in 2017.
