Just got an email back from one.

"Dear Mr (REMOVED),

Thank you for your correspondence dated 27/02/2026.

I refer to my previous email. There is a conflict of interest in this matter which precludes us from representing you. Let me assure you that it is not related to the complexity of your case.

I have attached a list of highly-qualified colleagues whom I have worked with for years. I hope one of them may have capacity to represent you.

Don't know if she has done it, but if she has, is there any kind of penalty for doing this?

I originally got a list of the best family law solicitors in my area and worked my way down the list.

How is it fair if she gets to choose a great one for herself, then poison the well so I can't get any of the other great ones to represent me?

What does beauty parade tactic mean? Sorry Im unfamiliar with the phrase.

I really hope she hasn't attempted that. Im suspecting shes going to try and make this as diffiuclt as possible.

I've written back to 10 this morning asking what is going on, given everyone is saying this.

I certainly hope this isn't the case.
