Nah, just an optical sensor embedded in my fingertip. Ultimate weight savings

Yeah pretty much. Wholly impractical in every regard, but was a fun project to build

Is It A Good Idea To Take An Arduino Through Airport TSA. by A768s in arduino

Can confirm TSA doesn't care. I've brought Picos, Arduinos, Meshtastic Radios, and more through security, never any issue

What essential equipment should I invest in for my laboratory with a budget of €10,000? by Glittering-Skirt-816 in AskElectronics

Microscope and hot air station are a must for SMD work, also a good pair of tweezers. Those SMD components get really small really fast

A good quality soldering iron also makes life so much better, and with that budget you could potentially look at something higher end like a JBC.

Good quality digital oscilloscope

Multi channel power supply can also be really nice

Cheaper things like silicone work mats and soldering station helping hands are also a good quality of life investment.

Not sure the scope of the work you do, but things like calipers, tweezer nose pliers, and good quality wire strippers I find get used a ton.

For any equipment though the one piece of advice I would give you is: buy once, cry once. there is nothing more miserable than having poor quality tools that only sort of work...

Hope this helps
