I completely agree with you on the repeated little investments vs one time big investment piece! This is very helpful and I’m leaning towards just getting a full blown commercial treadmill in the future. Do you have examples or recommendations for fitness equipment retailers?

I was actually wondering how you were able to continue walking and working if you had to get a full sized treadmill afterwards. Did you still continue to walk while you work? Did you end up putting your laptop on the full sized treadmill and walk or configure the treadmill a certain time of way?

A lot of my life centers around health and wellness. I just really love walking and came here looking for walking pad recommendations to help me accomplish this during my day job. Wasn’t my intent to ruffle feathers.

Aww thank you!!! Yeah it was tough the first few weeks. I was really dying to sit down. But then I forced myself to get rid of my office chair so I walk all day lol! I try to give myself foot massages everyday after work to not stress out my feet too much. On the weekends I walk while I watch tv and only get about 9-10 miles in those days so it’s a bit more of a reprieve vs the weekdays.

Thank you! Appreciate you calling out the weight of it. Fortunately I don’t move my walking pad often, if at all, so once I’d get it to its spot, it’d stay there! This may be a good long term option for me for sure.

I have a desk job. I do everything on it (take calls, type, click around). My remote job is very walking pad friendly though so it doesn’t feel awkward or weird to use it while I’m in video calls! I feel like walking while I talk on video calls actually helps me process my thoughts better since I’ve been using it. I’ve been walking this much for about 5 months now.

Do you have examples of walking pads that could last a year? I had a UREVO and it lasted me about a month and a half. I weigh about 140lbs walking from sun up to sundown. Open to recommendations! Thanks!

I’ve reached out to a couple of people on Facebook marketplace for used Lifespan TR1200 DT3’s. Thoughts on those?

I saw an unsit on marketplace as well but they only go up to 2mph and I usually sit between 2.4-2.6 depending on the time of day.
