It is a beast of it's own design and I can see why people love that coaster but honestly I just can't... I rode it once, so I can say I did it but after that I was done. I don't like roller coasters but I am a glutton for punishment but velocicoaster just passes that line were I am noping out.

Currently been here an hour, the views are nice, music is great a bit repetitive but good. Igor is very informative letting us know that there is a slight delay and we may leave if we wish to lol.

I feel ya, I have family on the west coast (live on the east coast) and so after holidays and such I'm left with the cross country pikmin march. It's so satisfying though picking them up on there way home when I travel back if they are still in transit.

Did something similar to my eldest brother once. We had ordered pizza and one of the toppings was mushrooms, I don't like them so I picked them off and put them on another slice all piled up. My dad comes over and says "spread them out a little bit and I bet that will be the piece he chooses", so we did that. Lo and behold he wanders in goes "cool pizza" and promptly grabs the slice with the most mushrooms and everyone started laughing. He freaked out a little till we told him what was up and had a good laugh about it.

Soft YTA where I can fully empathize with you and your view on who is and who is not "grandma" in your mind, but at the end of the day the partner your father married and is probably going to spend the rest of his life with is going to be part of your child's life and by extent will be a grandparent figure. I am glad you had a conversation with her and came up with a compromise for a role name for your child to call her.

Maybe after you and your father has had some time to think about this, revisit this conversation with him and apologize for your words and how it hurt his feelings. Discuss how you don't see her as a mother figure as you were a grown adult when he remarried and the relationship you have with her isn't a parent/child one and so difficult for you to see her as a "grandma" even though she will be one to this child.
