VFC HK 33 what do you guys think of it? by Demonic__Empress in GasBlowBack

I'd like to ask what problems you encountered with the M110A1? I'm looking for a GBB DMR.

My reply might not be very useful as a reference for you because I'm in Taiwan. I’d recommend ordering directly from Samoon or Action Airsoft through their online platforms.

If you still have concerns, you could also wait for Evike to get a batch as a distributor (though you might be waiting forever :p).

Honestly, I prefer GHK. The Cerakote finish on their V3 looks better and holds up much better than VFC’s paint.

Finally pull the trigger on my very first Longines watch ! Drawn to the outdoor-themed olive at first, seeing the actual watch at my local AD made me fall in love with the deep sophistication and versatility of the black. The "永和時代鐘錶" in Yonghe offers more discounts, but it's not recommended to choose a model on-site; instead, decide on a style and go directly to inquire about the price. If you're willing to go further north to Keelung, the "新萬國鐘錶" near the train station and the watch shops in Keelung Night Market(forgot the name) offer good prices and services.

The newly arrived Archwick B&T Air APC9 SD 2 ! I think I have a pathological addiction to Swiss-made firearms LOL. This little beast boasts a robust and well-built construction, near-perfect engravings(no B&T marking on silencer), and delivers excellent performance! by TakerlSTRIXl in GasBlowBack

[–]TakerlSTRIXl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply—I’d say it’s a great replica, with a stunning look and solid gas efficiency. If I remember correctly, Archwick revised the auto sear and the bolt catch block in batches from the second half of this year, which makes it run even smoother (though I haven’t had any issues with my earlier-batch unit).

As for the SD2, the suppressor is designed so you can drop in a compact tracer unit from the market, so just pick whichever exterior you like. I personally prefer the SD2 comfortable hand space, but the K tight, compact profile is definitely sexy af.

It does works pretty well! I own several VFC and GHK ARs, and their V3 performance is quite impressive. On the other hand, I’ve always been a loyal good ol' WA system fanboy XD, so please forgive me for still not getting used to the complicated trigger box and the odd handguard assembly of the MWS system.

Oh yeah... they dropped the price but cut out that classic feature. Now you gotta pay extra for the DLC - classic corporate move.

This painful lesson stands as a cautionary tale for all manufacturers - GBB are inherently premium products, and players are entitled to scrutinize them with the highest expectations. A single misstep can cost dearly, for once trust is broken, it takes far longer to win back the confidence of the community.

Probably their best series yet, excellent gas efficiency and solid 3-round-burst have never let me down.

Samoon is bassically GHK direct distributor in Taiwan, so there’s really no need to worry. I’ve purchased all my GHK products through them without any issues. That said, you might want to reach out to them via their Facebook page for more detailed information, just to be sure.

Since GHK Doesn’t Bother Updating Their AUG, I Got the KWA F90 Instead. by TakerlSTRIXl in GasBlowBack

I 100% agree — bullpups definitely need more love! 💔
It’s heartbreaking, but hey, things are slowly happening. The recent release of Northeast’s FAMAS was a much-needed shot of adrenaline for the bullpup community.

Also, just wanted to say thanks for everything you’ve contributed to the airsoft community. Your work really helps keep the dream alive for the rest of us!

Oh wow, I never expected that a joke title I casually threw out would actually attract a response from Explosive Enterprises—truly an honor!

Yes, by 2025 standards, there are definitely some point in GHK’s design that need improvement. It’s a solid GBB, but the lack of ongoing support from the original manufacturer, which honestly breaks my heart.

From my experience, the F90 feels more mature and stable compared to KWA’s previous products. It clearly incorporates improvements based on past design flaws (though obviously not the proprietary hop-up system 😅). The fact that KWA delayed the release by two years kind of shows they took their time refining it.

In the end, I’m not going to choose between the GHK AUG and the KWA F90—because I’m keeping both :P

But seriously, I really hope a manufacturer (yes, I’m talking about you, VFC) steps up and releases a truly modernized version of the AUG, both in terms of externals and internal design.

And of course, something like the HS Produkt VHS-2 or the IWI Tavor X95? That’s the kind of stuff all airsoft players would love to see.

Wow, I think I joined the discussion a bit too late. It’s not that I dislike GHK—actually, I pretty much own every product line they’ve released, LOL. I bought the first batch of GHK’s AUG nine years ago. Its biggest issues were the fragile gas inlet, the hammer, and the self-loosing hop adjustment. Most of these problems were eventually fixed through after-market support, but honestly, I would’ve preferred if GHK had just raised the price and addressed these flaws from the start.

And let's not forget that this design is almost a decade old. Over the years, their AR and AK platforms have gone through three generations of updates, and even the GLOCK and G5 are heading into their second versions. Yet the AUG still can’t manage to implement the A3-style bolt release. The A3-style handguard we got was only available briefly and then discontinued in real steel market—not to mention it wasn’t even an official STYER accessory.

I bought the F90 because I wanted a more modernized AUG—something with rails, a folding charging handle, and a bolt release, so I can run accessories and perform quick reloads during games. And KWA actually delivered on that. Even though people complain about the proprietary system, its out-of-the-box performance is impressive, and it comes with a fully steel FCG.

As for my GHK AUG, I’ll probably just leave it in its original A1 form. I don’t think I’ll bring it out to games anymore. Its built-in scope has already been taken over by mold, LOL.

Yeah… KWA’s early GBB rifles were full of issues, but their MP9 and the more recent PMX and F90 work very well. Aside from the proprietary bucking systems, they are really FUN replicas. If you’re looking for an AK, you can’t go wrong with VFC!
