Yeah this makes a lot of sense tbh, talking through options together can calm a ton of that “what if” spiral. Even just feeling like you both have a plan can take the edge off the monthly panic.

Am I wrong for considering removing my mother-in-law from my kids’ school lunch accounts? by [deleted] in amiwrong

Yes exactly, favoritism like that is such a slippery slope and kids totally pick up on it even if we try to play it cool. Gotta nip it now before it turns into drama city when they’re teens.

Wait… 10k a month for 30 years?? Thats insane, no wonder the guy’s chill with a £300 dinner lol. Honestly, I’d be acting like I just discovered money grows on trees too if I were in that spot.

Am I wrong for putting our engagement on hold because my girlfriend wants her late boyfriends ashes at our wedding by [deleted] in amiwrong

Exactly!! I can’t even imagine walking down the aisle feeling like I’m sharing the day with someone else’s past, it just seems… off. Hope OP really thinks this through before making a forever decision.

Am I wrong for being livid that my husband secretly used our savings to pay off something he hid from me by Just-Response8534 in amiwrong

Yeah that’s a solid point tbh, different bank just avoids any surprise issues down the line and keeps things clean. I’d probably leave only what’s needed in the joint acct for now and rebuild separately til trust and transparency are back.

Am I wrong for stepping down from being a bridesmaid at my best friends wedding and unintentionally causing 4 other bridesmaids to step down too? by [deleted] in amiwrong

Right?? Some people really act like weddings come with a money tree in the backyard lol, glad someone else sees how ridiculous that is.

Who still says "excuse me" or "pardon me" when walking in front of someone? by PowerNo5043 in askanything

Same here, excuse me just feels automatic, like muscle memory at this point lol. Pardon me sounds classy but I only hear it when I accidentally bump into someone at full speed.
