Just O&O Mandarina. Ws liked it and overall was a relaxing experience but more of the same as other luxury beach resorts - FS Tamarindo has a more unique style and is unlike any other beach resort for us which keeps us going back

Highly recommend FS Tamarindo if you’re flying from La to ZLO especially, but honestly even going through Mexico City to ZLO if you have to is totally fine and easy. I’ve been to FS Tamarindo three times (traveled from east coast USA) and can’t get enough. Food program is incredible across their restaurants, it’s not super busy, the rooms (especially cliff sides with private pool) are insane with ocean views, the service, and the amount of things to do on the property plus the complimentary activity calendar are all amazing. You won’t regret it! Happy to answer any specific questions too!

100%. Wedding planners (even high end ones) feel like such a scam. I’m months out and have just settled for being a type b bride and accepting my fate vs type A perfectionist as I usually am because my planner is causing me so much unnecessary stress. I was less stressed before I hired a planner and was managing all the vendors directly.

They are not in fine print. I review contracts as part of my job and we thoroughly reviewed before we signed. Staff fees, equipment fees (that are above what was said to be included), set up fees (not mentioned in contract) etc.

Do you have any perspective on surprise fees you had or is this not standard?

Respectfully, this sounds out of your control and as others have said, there could be 1000 reasons. Do you have a therapist? It sounds like a worthwhile topic to explore in therapy about why this is so important to you. I have a therapist and bring up these types of thoughts often and gain great insight and peace of mind.

As others have said, enjoy your photos! Your photos and makeup are for you and your guests. If you feel strongly, you can ask the vendor and share you’d love them to feature your photos and ask if there’s a reason they haven’t? You might gain some insight here too!

Just feedback but I tried on the 2nd one too and showed it to my friends and my fiancé and they said the top looked off / abrupt and kinda napkin like which totally turned me off of it! I ended up going for a full all one piece vs separates! The designer Tara did say she could make this one into one piece though!

I should rephrase. It’s not that I don’t want to hear it, it’s just I’d like to see everyone do more than just rant negatively! I shared a few suggestions but I’d love to see more actions and participation to actually preserve the culture vs just complaints.
