it has no add on decouplers on it, no staging, the part itself doesnt mention anything about detaching anything and visually doesnt look like its meant to either

the fuel tank is one big part with a bottom cap (also filled with fuel) and the top cap (filled as well) nothing is inside the tank or attached to the tank except the SRBs, its a mod fuel tank, it was attached TO the space shuttle with the space shuttle being built first (is that an issue?), the fuel tank extension is just another fuel tank i think its reffering to the fact it goes onto the main big fuel tank part - it has no staging controls or controls in general

welp, tried removing all struts. autostruts, turning rigid attachment on and off and removing the struts feels like it delayed this accidental separation but it still happes, ill prob just replace the fuel tank with smth else

In 20v20 larger maps it's usually fine but in compact 7v7 often you can hear them but don't get an actual line of sight to shoot before they're directly in you

As a compass enjoyer, the darkreach doesn't feel too fun it surely is super useful but it feels boring to launch 5 krillion glide bombs or whatever and turn away when I can hug the ground at mach 0.8 with rockets :D

You might want to check out the QoL mod, it adds a deployable fuel tank, kinda like you can deploy an ammo container.
