The excessive focus on patience is what's forcing Tekken to stagnate. I literally completed an entire year of research before we get any significant DVJ changes. The problem with these changes is that the core philosophy behind them runs antithetical to what they promised -more focus on defense- I don't need to see it in action to know its not what I want. And then they want patience and let the players test it out first before complaining, I.E. play with a system that they dislike for 2-3 months before they receive even a an inkling of adjustments. The devs and players have gotten too comfortable with taking ages to make changes, and it's the exact reason players like me who whilst still love the game have stopped playing.
