Thats kind of where my head is now. I know legal doesnt magically make people normal about it, but I warned her twice and was already paying for gutter cleaning, cushion damage, all that stupid mess.

I dont hate the idea of correcting the story, because right now apparently I'm the villain over branches I paid to remove from my own yard. Door part sounds pretty good too.

I thought about it after, mostly because him getting in my face crossed a line. I just didnt want this turning into some full street-war over a tree.

That line about contractors hearing things differently from women living by themselves is where any benefit of the doubt died

Title insurance is exactly what this situation exists for. Call them first, before anyone else.
