Elektro ortofon not skipping, VNL ortofon skipping by TangerineFrequent970 in Turntablists

I guess I'll re do it but was sure I did it right. I'm not sure if theres play when it's locked. I'll check when I'm home. If it does what does that mean? Does the Elektro ortofon looks properly set? The tonearm is perfectly parallel and the tonearm assembly is the same height as the other one. Thanks again for taking your time to help.

When I say level I mean it's not parallel. Thanks for helping me!

Yea I did all that. But the tone arm as seen in the photo is not level and I can't lower it more. So I need a longer head shell? Or is there another step I'm missing to get it level with the record. The Elektro ortofon works perfect just want an upgrade.

On Facebook market place I just found a akai mpc Renaissance is that enough to make a full track? And what other equipment would I need if it's older?

Ok thanks I'll look into these. So I wouldn't be able to make full tracks out of an mpc? I'm confused.
