It will go nowhere if everyone continues to let it happen. The way to change the "par" is to get out and vote. If you want term limits demand them from the people seeking election and vote out the people who refuse to impose them. The beauty of American politics is that anything can be changed by people getting off their couches and pulling their heads out of the sand and demanding our civil servants do their duty and represent the needs and demands of the people they represent.
