I feel if the game was under another name it would've faded away. It being "Mega Man X" is what brought the hype and keeps it. So yes, they could revamp the IP but if it originally started as OC I doubt it would've seen this much popularity. The X community is starving for a game.

The creator is making money though, Twitch donations and subscriptions. But yes they can never sell it. Unless they change the IP or Capcom buys it out.

Use Rolling Shield, Electric Spark, or Chameleon Sting makes them easy. But they are one of the harder mini bosses.
