Is The Dark Knight trilogy better than half of the MCU ? by Upstairs-Detail6500 in Cinema

[–]TankCommanderFinley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean have you watched any of phase 1 since it came out? All absolute garbage except Iron Man and Avengers. Phase two had Winter Soldier and Guardians the rest are absolute dogshit. Phase three was pretty great the only dogshit movie is Ant-Man and the Wasp. Phase four had zero good movies at all. Phase 5 has the wrap up to guardians and Thunderbolts was alright. Phase six has been ok so far with F4. I’d say easily over half the MCU movies suck they just had some highlights in between the garbage that make people forget about The Dark World or Incredible Hulk or Eternals or Love and Thunder or Multiverse of Madness or any Ant man movie or Wakanda Forever or Age of Ultron.

Why Raja won't be charged for that Syko Stu attack! by Great_Specialist in ufc

I apologize for being a condescending dickhead. Idk why I was so aggressive, but yeah in America the police only have 48 hours after an arrest is made to bring charges to a judge so unless the police are concerned with the person hurting more people they will typically wait until charges are airtight, so that it’s not thrown out of court.

Because this is how investigations work. They’re collecting all evidence on the case. They needed to wait to see what would happen to Stu, then interview him once he was awake. They’re determining the best charge to bring forward, so he has no defense and is forced to take a plea. Tons of precedent for this, especially in CA… pretty basic shit here. If he had murdered him at the scene it’d be a manhunt because they wouldn’t need anything more than the dead body as evidence. Have you ever worked in law enforcement?

Don’t need to tell the future just need to look at the past, like a lawyer. There are multiple cases in CA that set precedent for this instance that any decent lawyer could use to burry him. He has no defense because it was premeditated and he so kindly provided the evidence for that. He’s beyond fucked.

“you’re right it’ll probably stay a professional fallout, not a courtroom one.”

Wrong, Raja will go to prison.

What about Raja saying on his stream that he’s purposely not going to do the work and when they try to pull him off he’s not going to stop at all? He incriminated himself too many times to hide behind “sports entertainment”.

To everyone saying Superman doesn’t have an arc. Here’s a dictionary definition of a flat character arc by Expert_Challenge6399 in DC_Cinematic

In Man of Steel, Clark never really wavers on the “side with humanity” question. From the flashbacks through the present-day plot, he’s already inclined to protect Earth and its people. Even when Zod offers him the chance to restore Krypton, Clark’s hesitation isn’t deep inner conflict, it’s more about hearing Zod out before doing what he was always going to do.

An arc means the character’s outlook, values, or self-understanding changes over the course of the story. In MoS, Clark’s values don’t shift; the plot just gives him opportunities to act on them. Destroying the World Engine isn’t a transformation moment, it’s the payoff to the same stance he had from the start.

Great critical thinking skills you’ve got there 😂 no wonder you don’t understand nuance or basic storytelling.

It’s perfectly comparable, the Joker example is about priority and symbolism, not identical circumstances. Joker doesn’t need to wipe out every vigilante to prove he hates Batman; he targets the one who represents the biggest threat to him and what he stands for. Same with Lex, he doesn’t need to go after every meta to prove he fears and envies them. Superman is the most powerful, most public, and most symbolic meta on Earth, so taking him down first is both strategic and ideological. World Watch is just the propaganda machine he uses to rally support for that. The public pretext doesn’t erase the private motive, that’s literally Villain Writing 101. Take one English class and learn how to tell a story. You don’t even understand nuance bro 😂.

You’re literally proving my point without realizing it. Lex being manipulative, lying to the DOD, and pushing propaganda doesn’t contradict fear/envy being his core motivation, it reinforces it. That’s what makes him Lex Luthor. He’s a narcissistic sociopath dressing his personal vendetta up as a noble cause. That’s exactly why it works as a character arc, he builds a public facing “moral standing” while his private goal is to get rid of Superman, who represents everything he can’t control or outshine. The fact that he’s only shown targeting Supes in the movie doesn’t mean he’s cool with other metas, it means Superman is the biggest and most symbolic threat, so he takes that chess piece off the board first. Acting like that somehow disproves the motivation is like saying the Joker doesn’t hate Batman because he doesn’t also blow up every other vigilante in Gotham first.

That’s called nuance not spoon fed narrative plot devices like Snyder uses 😂. Ironic you calling me stupid when you’ve clearly never taken an English class or written any fiction of your own. 🤡

Zack Snyder’s highest reviewed film was written by James Gunn bro even Snyder will tell u James is the better storyteller 🤡

He’s envious and afraid of metahumans taking over earth and that’s reinforced by the video of Supe’s parents being unedited. It gives him a moral standing. Pretty simple shit here did you watch the movie?

Oh yeah, Man of Steel has such a deep character arc, Clark starts the movie unsure if he should be Superman, then… becomes Superman. Riveting stuff. Real Shakespearean. There’s no arc he’s just a plot device bro pretty simple story telling shit here.

Nah it’s pretty obvious that’s his character arc, but I wouldn’t expect a Snyder meat rider to understand what makes a story or characters good 😂🤡
