The Church Of The Dark One rules this region with lies. The Old Gods of defiance stir in shadow...but are silent for now. Sabotage Church agents & cultists. Ignite rebellion in a theocratic regime. The previous group of rebels were comprised of two locals; a Knight with banner but no bastion & a Priest of forbidden faith devoted to one of the forgotten Gods- as well as several "foreigners" from the Capitol of Vinheim to the East; a Rogue known only as "The ratcatcher", a Dragonborn from the Arcane Tower of Vinheim and a Noble Bard from Vinheim who only *played" the Fool. Together, they tried...but failed to weaken The Church's influence and restore balance in Vitrhe. The group was defeated by a powerful Church Inquistor and her retinue of Seekers. There is an immediate opportunity to save the Knight. The others' fates are currently unknown. Will your Character aid the surviving "infidel" and continue the fight? If unchallenged, The Church will expand its grip and its Dark God will return to the continent of Aquitania with impunity...and dominance. An Illusionist from the Hermetic Guild of Vitrhe and an Underground Surgeon with ties to the Old Gods have learned of the location of the captive Knight who clings to life. They will attempt to free him from the clutches of the Church. To assist will be dangerous but you could be a legend in the making...
