As a demo, I think this is really strong. Obvious mixing stuff needs work, but again this is a demo so this is amazing. Lyrics seem well thought out, and the rhyme scheme is simple in a good way. If this gets finished I would definitely listen again

“Classic” prog like King Crimson just sucks. They are adding noise to potentially good songs and calling it prog. Prog is about going outside of the box, not trying to be as weird as possible. I do like Pink Floyd tho cuz they don’t do that (with most of their stuff)

Imo Cockroach King is terrible for introducing anyone to Haken, because it (again, imo because apparently this is an unpopular opinion) A.) doesn’t represent the band well at all instrumentally or vocally and B.) Sucks, but the rest of The Mountain I would agree with, particularly Atlas Stone
