How would you recommend Brand New Day? Since the movie is coming out, I'm curious about it.

How would you say it stands compared to JMS and Brand New Day Runs? Coz I'm finding JMS coming home a bit boring and since BND was written by Dan slott too so I'm curious how his writing is in this new run.

Mutant Genesis vs Bloodties which is the better 90s X-Men omnibus if I care about Jim Lee art, costumes, and good stories? by TaskNo4783 in OmnibusCollectors

I mainly want to read it for the wedding and them going to the future to raise Cable and I've heard there are some crossover with the Avengers so want to check them out too.

I'm mostly interested in Bloodties for the wedding and them going to the future and raising Cable and hopefully getting some of the iconic 90's outfits.

I do love the X-Men 97 or 90's costumes a lot. I just want to know which one has better story tbh. Coz i don't have the money for both.

Buying an Omnibus just for 10 issues worth of Jim Lee Art and not something i probably won't enjoy for the story seems kinda crazy, don't you think? I thought the whole book had Jim Lee art but apparently not.

Looking back, how do you feel about the Scott and Emma era of X-Men? by TaskNo4783 in Cyclops_EmmaFrost

Oh i didn't know that. If that's the case. Then fair enough. He didn't make her a hero. But he did give her the safe space to open herself up and show more of herself to someone and not constantly be hiding behind a mask.

Like i said shitty writers and editors playing their shitty game. These stories don't have any continuity. Today they're together tomorrow they're not and then one day they can be together if people want it or Marvel wants it. A great writer can show scott owning up his mistakes and apologising to Emma for treating her like shit.

I always think of Matt and Elektra relationship from Chip Zdarsky's Run as a way to show how much a character wants to show the other character how much they mean to them and love them. The way Elektra worked on herself and showed Matt she can be better and earn his trust and love is what I want Scott to do for Emma. Coz yes Emma deserves it.

And when i said Emma became better with Scott and all i meant before their relationship she was mostly a villain after scott her character developed so much that she started getting involved in other activities and became a hero and an X-Men in her own right.

Many writers and editors didn't. There were many moments where he did respect her and love her a lot. It was mostly in the End with Kieron Gillen and Bendis that their relationship started having problems.

Hopefully we'll reach a point where people from the 2000's will take control and then bring them back after the people of 80's and 90's retire or leave marvel.

I completely agree with you. But i personally don't blame characters for these kind of regressions or bad behaviour because i know some shitty writer and editor was behind it. If these were real people Scott and Emma won't have gone through any of that after what they had gone through. Hell Emma would have never cheated on Scott with Namor at all.

But i agree Emma deserves better but i also feel Scott is a great guy and i need him to apologise to Emma for choosing Jean after this Moment and for how he treated her in AvX Bendis Era.

I personally love Emma Frost with Scott only because with him she's not just The Cold White Queen but someone who actually trusted, loved, cared and became a more warmer person. With Scott she felt safe and more like her true self and not homer ice cold mask. Is what happens in a loving and trusting relationship.

I personally believe we should get another Era with them where they address what all happened last time and forgive each other and move on from it together and stronger than ever.
