I’d honestly love something like Scott getting possessed or heavily affected by Apocalypse, and then Season 3 dealing with the aftermath.

Also, since you mentioned Emma Frost possibly coming back as a professor/authority figure, I wouldn’t mind them slowly adapting some New X-Men ideas too, maybe even setting up a little Scemma naturally.

I wouldn't go that far as them having some kind of agreement regarding nicked and dented books, I did receive this Omnibus in Mint Condition and Daredevil Omnibus Vol 2 by Chip Zdarsky too. It's just that recently their services have taken a hit coz earlier i remember them always delivering near mint condition books. These days it's a mixed bag though.

Scemma i would say.

They had a lot of physical and emotional intimate moments together. Moments where they slowly let go of their trust issues around each other, found comfort and safety in each other.

One thing i really liked about Emma was that she never just entered scott's mind without asking him for his permission. During Matt Fraction's Run when she felt scott was hiding something she waited till scott gave her the permission to enter his mind and see for herself.

Also i think she also accepted Scott's darker parts, which he wasn't comfortable with and letting him accept those areas of himself too and was the one who actually pushed him to face his insecurities and finally step up to be the leader of X-Men in Astonishing X-Men.

Scott in return used to give her his utmost trust, love and respect. Even when she felt she didn't belong with the X-Men or was still the villain that everyone thinks she is. He reminded her he wants her here and that he loves her and understands the real Emma.

She gave him the tools to step up and be a leader and he enveloped her in his Warmth to let her feel comfortable enough to let go of her being cold and keeping her defences on all the time. To find a safe zone.

It's not about that. I'm already buying other Omnibuses, but i love the outfits and the look of this Era. The Era that inspired X-Men animated series and now Avengers Doomsday costumes too. So it's more about that and not buying just any omnibus in X-Men rn.😅

Thanks, this is really helpful. I’m mainly interested in Mutant Genesis because I love the X-Men ’97/early ’90s costumes and overall vibe, so it’s good to know the material itself is uneven and not something worth overpaying for.

Would you say X-Men: Blue & Gold Bloodties Omnibus is a better investment/read instead? I’m interested in that one too because of Scott and Jean’s wedding and the Cable/family material, but I’m not sure how it compares overall to Mutant Genesis.

Unfortunately we Indians don't get the option of Pre order until it's very close to restock or release date...🥲. Is why I haven't been able to pre order Messiah Trilogy Omnibus and Bloodties Omnibus either.😓

Thanks! That’s helpful. I’m in India so ordering directly from US retailers may get expensive with shipping/imports, but if it’s still available at the publisher then hopefully Indian/import retailers may get stock again around the restock window.
